Project spotlight · No. 4 Side Road, Kilbride (Burlington)

One estate. Two years. Two projects.

In 2024 we transformed a gated Kilbride estate — VinylPro windows, Cobra doors, and a Vista patio slider set beneath a custom arched transom, all coordinated to one look across a house that took three manufacturers to serve properly.

Two years later the same family called back: their new pool cabana needed a wall of glass. We glazed it from the permit drawings while the building was still in Tyvek — black-framed panels facing the pool, fitted to the structure, not forced into it.

Burlington window replacement FAQs

Do I need a building permit to replace windows in Burlington?
Straight like-for-like replacements don't need a permit in Burlington. If the structure changes — enlarging an opening, cutting a new one, or glazing a new structure — the City of Burlington requires a building permit. The pool cabana featured on this page was built to a full set of permit drawings. When a project needs paperwork, we handle it and build to pass.
Which parts of Burlington do you serve?
All of Burlington — Kilbride and rural North Burlington, Alton Village, Millcroft, The Orchard, Headon Forest, Brant Hills, Tyandaga, Aldershot, Roseland, Shoreacres, and Downtown, plus neighbouring Oakville, Waterdown, and Milton. We've completed 80+ projects across the city.
Can you handle a large estate or rural property?
Yes — the Kilbride estate featured on this page ran across two seasons and three manufacturers: VinylPro windows, Cobra doors, and a Vista patio slider under a custom arched transom, coordinated to one look on a gated rural property. Large homes are about logistics and consistency, and that's exactly what one crew doing the whole job gives you.
Do you glaze new structures like pool cabanas and additions?
Yes. Two years after the main house, the same Burlington client had us glaze their new pool cabana — a wall of black-framed glass panels facing the pool, installed from permit drawings while the structure was still in Tyvek. If you're building something new, bring us in early and the glass will fit the building, not the other way around.
